BMAT – October 2023

When does BMAT registration open?

BMAT – October 2023 registration opens on 1 September 2023. 

If you want to apply for modified papers, i.e. larger print, the deadline is 15 September 2023.

The final registration deadline is 29 September 2023 at 6pm (BST). No late registrations will be accepted after this date. This deadline is the same for Access Arrangements.

When can I sit the BMAT?

You can only sit BMAT – October in 2023 on 18 October. The test will be in the format of pen-and-paper this year.

When will I get my BMAT results?

Results are released on 24 November 2023 and any results enquiries must be completed by 1 December 2023.

Where can I sit the BMAT?

Some schools are eligible to become exam centres. The deadline for this is 15 September 2023.

You can also sit the exam at a pre-approved test centre.

Can I cancel my BMAT registration?

You can cancel your registration through your Exams Officer up until 29 September 2023. If you paid additional administration fees, it's up to your test centre whether they will refund these fees.
