When Is UCAT 2023?

Here are the key dates you need for UCAT 2023. Plan everything in advance and write any important dates in your calendar to avoid missing important deadlines.

Registration and booking dates

• Registration opens 16 May 2023 – you can register for the UCAT after creating a Pearson VUE web account. Bursary and Access Arrangement applications open on this date too.
• Booking opens 20 June 2023. Book early to secure the date, time and test location you want as they fill up fast.

UCAT testing season starts 10 July 2023

Important deadlines in September 2023

• Access Arrangement application deadline: 19 September‍
• Booking deadline: 21 September. If you miss this deadline you will have to wait until 2024 to book your UCAT.

UCAT testing season ends 28 September 2023

This is the very last day you can sit your UCAT.

Also note that 29 September 2023 is the Bursary Scheme application deadline.

UCAS application deadline

In 2023, the UCAS deadline is 16 October. You'll need to apply to medical schools through UCAS.

Don't forget that you'll need to submit your personal statement as part of your application.

UCAT results delivered in early November

In most UCAT testing centres you will get a print-out of your scores as soon as you’ve finished sitting the and you’ll be able to access them on your online UCAT Consortium account.

However, it won’t be until early November that your final UCAT score will be directly sent to all of your chosen medical schools.
